About Me

I’m Aiden, Founder and Operator of Avision Psychotherapy. That’s me in the Coca-Cola hat, standing in front of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, where Martin Luther King Jr. was baptized and served. It resonates deeply with me, symbolizing a life led with purpose and dedicated to authentic service.

Through my ongoing work in the healthcare and community sector, I began questioning the direction of my career. All too often, many systems felt distant from the real needs of people; focused on protocol and profit rather than the individual.

It’s my fundamental belief that the person who can help you the most is YOU. You know your life better than anyone else ever could. The unique details and relationships only you have. My role is to listen, facilitate, collaborate, offer academic or profession-specific insights, and perhaps even challenge you, so that you can unlock answers within yourself.

I transitioned into private practice to provide genuine outcomes. My goal is not to arbitrarily impose solutions, but to assist you in discovering them within yourself. Each of us has the capacity to live a life that is meaningful and authentic. The path to this starts with honoring and respecting who you are.

To create a life that’s truly yours, where you feel free from unnecessary suffering, have clear agency over yourself, and are equipped to take on the responsibilities that give your life its ultimate purpose.
