Psychotherapy + Videogames

Using interactive games to create a relaxed environment alongside Traditional Counselling & Psychotherapy.

(Ages 9+)

  • Quest is a therapeutic program that integrates interactive video games to create a familiar, relaxing environment to engage in traditional Counselling & Psychotherapy interventions. Sessions draw upon evidence-based practice to explore emotional regulation, problem-solving, teamwork, social interaction, and resilience.

    This program is designed for individuals who benefit from non-traditional and dynamic settings to therapy.

    The underlying goal of this program is to provide a constructive, collaborative space where clients can explore challenges, practice skills, and strengthen self-awareness while engaged in familiar forms of interactivity.

    Games currently available in Quest sessions include:

    • Fortnite

    • Roblox

    • Minecraft

Origin

A structured, time-limited therapy program for self-reflection, direction and values discovery.

  • Origin is a guided program of self-reflection, psychoeducation, values clarification, and personal growth. Moving step-by-step, clients develop insight into their:

    • Mental Health

    • Personality

    • Motivations

    • Personal Strengths

    • Life Goals

    Created and formed as a curated collection of evidence-based interventions and psychoeducation, this program is designed for creating authentic life strategies aligned with individualized personal values.

    The underlying goal of this program is to enable individuals to better understand themselves, while building a coherent personal life philosophy that functions as an anchor and compass; aligning one’s lifestyle with their wellbeing and deeper sense of self.

    “Origin” utilizes evidence-based interventions within several psychotherapeutic modalities:

    • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

    • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Traditional Online Telehealth

  • Core is the central therapeutic service of Avision Psychotherapy, offering one-to-one counselling and psychotherapy sessions via secure telehealth. Sessions draw upon evidence-based modalities to support clients in working through mental health challenges, building coping strategies, and developing insight in a confidential and supportive environment.

    The underlying goal of this program is to create a stable foundation for ongoing growth and wellbeing, allowing clients to explore challenges, build resilience, and fundamentally address mental health concerns; whether this is in the form of short-term interventions or long-term deep work.

    This program is well-suited for:

    • Individuals seeking Counselling or Psychotherapy for a variety of psychological experiences, including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, Anxiety, Stress, Depression and Life Transitions
